Skiing in its purest form

Between classic, hype, traditional and new school skiing, the new community of telemark skiing has also reached South Tyrol: This is where free rider, snowboarder, traditional skiers and back country skiers become free heelers and are able to rediscover the mountains. Even if you know the mountains like the back of your hand, this ski sport form allows you to look at the mountains from a totally new perspective.

The glacier ski resort in the valley of Senales is also renowned for its yearly telemark ski equipment test convention called “Telemark Works Freeheeler Testival” that takes place every November, and every year in March one can try out the newest equipment at the ski resort of Schwemmalm. Telemark equipment can also be hired at all times of the winter season at both resorts, and the ski schools also offer special telemark ski classes.
