"South Tyrol is the high-contrast symbiosis of Alpine and Mediteranean elemrents, nature and culture." Here one can depend on spontaneity.
From the
5th to the 12th of July, during the Schenna Vintage Car Rallye, the village of Schenna again becomes a living vintage car museum. About 120 vintage cars cross the beautiful landscape of South Tyrol and bring a wonderful spectacle to the villages. This is not so much a race as a journey through time, where style, precision and teamwork are celebrated. Here you can see vintage cars, produced before 1965, representing a cross section of the history of Europe’s most famous Auto manufacturers. Each car is distinct in its form, movement and sound. What it most important for the South Tyrol Classic Rallye, is not the size of the car but the year of construction, and so a colossal Bentley with its eight liter cylinder capacity stands next to a bubble car like the BMW Isetta.
