Nals is located about 16 kilometres south of Merano, and has a particularly pleasent climate. The view of this wine producing village confirms this:

The castles and palaces, mansions and farms resemble islands in a sea of apple trees, vineyards and roses. It is because of the latter that this holiday resort is also called “Rose Village".
